Srinagar- A day after National Conference termed the rumours about the resignation of senior leader and former finance minister Abdul Rahim Rather from the party as baseless and “far from reality”, Rather’s son Hilal Ahmad Rather joined the Peoples Conference (PC) today.
Hilal, who is out on bail in a case related to diversion of loan money taken from Jammu and Kashmir Bank, joined the PC in the presence of party chairman Sajad Gani Lone.
“Renowned entrepreneur, Mr Hilal Rather joins @JKPC_. Mr Hilal is a graduate of the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology & Science & joined the party in the presence of PC President Mr @sajadlone & other senior JKPC leaders.#CaravanOfChange,” Party wrote on its official twitter handle.
