Bled ( SLOVENIA): The annual Bled Strategic Forum (BSF), Slovenia’s and Europe’s pre-eminent foreign-policy conference, began in this picturesque city on Wednesday amid major churning in geo-politics following Taliban takeover in Kabul that could snowball into a refugee crisis for Europe.

This year’s focus (16th edition of the Bled) of the two-day event is the future of Europe with a call to increase its resilience to respond more effectively to current and future challenges.

India is the only Asian country invited for this edition of BSF where Foreign Minister S Jaishankar will elaborate on India’s Indo-Pacific vision on Thursday besides meeting EU Foreign Ministers. Afghanistan among other issues will among key talking points when Jaishankar meets the EU Foreign Ministers.
